100 Word Story Week 9 Term 3
Marcus
Such immense beauty surround the gardens of the Tateyama. everything from mother earth with the lotus flowers to the sky child to which comes the sweet smell of cherry blossoms. The pieces of art were impeccable, however. The Gokiburi piece had a dark secret, it contained the bodies of men and women whom have ruled over the lands of hell. It fed on death and defiance that only the gods could quench, but now ten years later the piece shall release its victims souls upon the earth where they shall rule in chaos and disorder and pass down so.

Book Review: Enders Game
Ender's Game
By Orson Scott Card
Excellent book, I loved the mystery inside this impressive novel.
Ender's Game really walks the fine line of science-fiction and dramatic effect. The story is set in a futuristic environment where young Ender Wigan trains to become the best soldier he could possibly be. While meeting allies and enemy's Ender finds himself deep in isolation. Pondering the thoughts of whether he is on strings or not, Ender is thrust into battle where he discovers a mind-blowing secret. Will Ender meet their expectations, or will he turn out like every second-grade student?

100 Word Story Week #36
My scarlet gumboots waded across the brown mud. My body wasbut I kept my pace and tried not to be completely engulfed in the storm. After numerous attempts I pried the door open and in to find mother waiting for me drenched in half a river. I tiredly stripped down and went to bed. I woke up to a scream, the sky turned a deadly as did the crops of below. Mother was beside herself in horror and fear. I cant say that I wasn’t either when I looked up. An ENORMOUS meteor crashed into the ground and that is all that I remember.

100 Word Story Week #35
My Discombobulated face turned a scarlet red as the spicy jalapeno slid down my burning throat. My Evil older brother Peter convinced me that the so-called red Banana was edible.
But it made my tongue tingle and then i suddenly went horrifyingly numb. i tried with all my strength to say “ILL GET YOU FOR THIS” but all that came out was random gibberish and gooey green flem. It hurt something awful and the burning sensation was slowly turning me into a vegetable. The only sound that I heard was Peter’s hysterical laughing, and all I could fell was my sweat and tears turning into steam

Forensic Science with Dr Kenworthy
In week 3 of term 2, there was a ‘staged’ robbery at Waikanae School. The school’s safe was stolen from the Library.
Our class was divided up into Forensic Investigation Teams who collected evidence from the crime scene before taking it back to our 'laboratory' to analyse it and draw conclusions. As the days past, more information was revealed and ‘Police reports’ on the suspects were provided.
On the final day, each team presented their evidence and declared WHODUNNIT!

CSI With Dr. Kenworthy
CSI With Dr Kenworthy
Day 1
Day one started off with a bang as we immediately got sorted out into groups of 1-6 to use the chromatography paper, drops of dye and capillary tubes.
we then started work by writing our initials exp: Dr M.B onto the chromatography paper.
Then on the same sheet of paper we drew a 2 centimetre lines on the opposite side of the initials.
The using the capillary tubes we dabbed it onto the line. we quickly dried the paper and repeated the step 3 times with three different colours on three different parts of the line.
Then we filled our beaker just enough that the water would only cover the whole of the bottom with the water no higher than that.
Day 2
Breaking News!!!. Someone has broken into the library and stole the safe containing all of the schools money. The police have chosen suspects and SOCO teams are to analyse the data within the evidence.
team six is convinced that the found evidence and fingerprinting leads to suspect Chris Clarke. but the main culprit is yet to be seen. The police have kept quiet during this operation and promise to answer the questions after they put a name to the face. Stay with us to see who would commit a crime like this.
Day 3
SOCO teams have almost put a name to the face as they go over the crime scenes and swept the place clean. after checking interviews and careful consideration, they have chosen a suspect whom is named Denise Donovan. She claims she has never heard of Waikanae School, but school principal Mr Campbell claims that he saw her walking outside the grounds. she has also claimed that the real culprit is Chris Clarke but that remains to be seen.
SOCO teams have found a scrunched up piece of paper that apparently points to one of the suspects. Police are checking the suspects houses to look for a notebook to match with the piece of paper. SOCO teams have also reported what appears to be a fragment of a shirt. SOCO teams are confirming it soon. Stay with us to see if this so-called suspect is lucky or not.
